Editor Review

Tracfone has an extensive handset offering with prices as low as $9.99. This low price point will make Tracfone very attractive to some consumers. They also offer a wide variety of Airtime Cards, which add to the convenience. It can be difficult to contact customer service, and we dislike the fact that you must purchase international calling cards seperately to make international calls. Overall, we highly reccomend Tracfone.

these phones suck.. the web site does not work. I now have two of these pos phones. the first one died, and the second one does not work, they sent a new sim card and that did not work. They don't deserve a one star rateing. Even the delivery driver commented that he has delivered countless numbers of these junk phones and that I am not alone. That there are countless others with the same phone problem. Friends do not let friends buy a trac phone.

I got a tracfone to have another phone with a separate number for the girls I meet on line. That way if any are nuts, they won't have my real number. As a second cell number that I do not use frequently, Tracfone has been great! I am glad I got it

I bought a TracFone about six months ago. My customer service nightmares began when I attempted to port my number over from Verizon. It was almost impossible to understand the customer service reps, and they could not understand me. They thought that I wanted to port a TracFone number to Verizon. To their credit, I got a new simcard with the ported number DHLed to me for free. Their rates are an atrocity! I pay 33 cents/min on the low denomination cards. It costs 1/2 min per minute on the mobile web, instead of the more conventional billing per kilobyte. I am switching to AT&T GoPhone soon.
