Cricket, part of Leap Wireless International, has doubled its workforce in Denver, Colorado to 200 employees. The company has also placed one of its top executives, Al Moschner, in the Denver office. Cricket hopes that creating the business hub in Colorado will help them expand to other markets such as Chicago, Las Vegas, and Minneapolis.

Cricket has already expanded to 14 new markets over the last 18 months, effectively doubling its service area. This is great news for prepaid customers because Cricket offers a flat rate, unlimited calling plan without requiring a contract. Until now, the main limitation with Cricket's service was its samll coverage area, but hoepfully its upcoming expansion will make it an option for many more people.

If you are interested in a Cricket prepaid plan, check out their coverage map to see if they are available in your area yet. If they aren't available in your area yet, check back often because they are expanding fast!
